Xtreme Plan

With the winter break looming for the Australian Supersport Championship, WNR Kawasaki will continue its racing activities in the Australian Formula Xtreme Championship at Sydney’s Eastern Creek Raceway on July 1-3. The next round of the Supersport series takes place at Queensland Raceway from June 3-5 before taking a 5 month hiatus. The lengthy pause prompts the need to remain in competition and provides an opportunity to do so at our home circuit. The event in Sydney also allows the team to showcase the growth we have achieved this year.

Competition in the Formula Xtreme 600 class is far from peaceful in 2011 with big names and young guns contemplating glory at no expense. Glenn Scott has made his intentions clear that it is not race practice or extra track time at Eastern Creek. The 19 year old is aiming for victory aboard the Kawasaki ZX6R Superstock machine.

Xtreme Plan

Glenn completed close to 50 laps at Eastern Creek last week with the support and experience of Marcelo Garibotto. Marcelo will take charge of technical duties at events for the remainder of 2011. The test day was a success however overshadowed by several oil spills making lap times difficult.

Glenn has a busy schedule for the remainder of this month with further testing at Queensland Raceway, a photo shoot in Sydney and a final training charge before resuming Supersport duties next week at Round 4 of the Australian Supersport Championship.
